With the Christmas holiday approaching, I’d like to encourage you to make the season more than a simple experience of gifts. Let me advise you now that I believe in Jesus Christ, and still believe that there’s a purpose to this holiday season besides spending money. A friend suggested one additional way to make this season more meaningful.
Did you know that if you begin reading Luke 1 on December 1, you will read the entire life of Jesus Christ by December 24. I think this is a particularly beneficial challenge, and an overwhelming way to renew the true purpose of Christmas.
